These nails are inspired by Elsalonsito. I was looking through her blog and fell in love with her spray paint nails and had to try them out. I really love the way this turned out! Everyone go and check out her nail art, it is really amazing.

Okay, I know that this blog is supposed to be about nails, but I just have to post this. Last Thursday was Fictional Character Day at my school, and I dressed as Steve from Blue’s Clues. I then proceeded to put paw prints around the building. Nearly all of them are still there.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! I think its so awesome that OPI came out with the Pink of Hearts 2012 set, not only because they are beautiful colors but its great to see so many nail polish companies coming out with limited edition polishes in support! I used I Think in Pink as my base color - its the perfect shade of pink! It was completely opaque in 2 coats. I then layered You Glitter Be Good to Me on my nails for a gradient effect. I used Lechat Nail Art stripers for the ribbon design on my accent finger.
I definitely recommend purchasing this set! Its perfect to show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month but its also great to use all year-round.
